Social media is big business now as it seems not only are most people using social media platforms but most brands are too and whatever you think about the social media take over, it’s unlikely to be ending any time soon.
With this in mind, international purveyors of unique, mainly handmade jewellery, Boticca.com have done their own study into how two of their favorite platforms work for them.

They used a sample of 500,000 of their visitors from Facebook and 500,000 from picture sharing platform, Pinterest. They chose a month’s time frame, from mid-March to mid-April 2012 to rake in all the data they could from these powerful sources and collated it in this illustrative format that shows some really interesting out comes.
